Anna Ziegler’s BFF tells the story of best friends Lauren and Eliza, who become fraught with guilt when they both make crucial decisions on the way to growing up. In this heartfelt and deep introspection on these girls’ lives, BFF sheds light on the culpability and responsibility we all must face in the incessant discovery of ourselves and how our experiences mold our capacity to actualize relationships.

Growing up: A review of TA Department’s BFF

“Struggling a lot with identity, Lauren’s story is told by the careful acting of Lorica…Her exasperation and youthful naiveté perfectly portray an innocent preteen so ready for the world. Even when this is no longer the case, as seen in her scenes as an older Lauren, she still manages to appear have a multitude of emotions that go beyond just being inhibited.”
